3. Data We Collect
When you visit the website
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When pages are delivered, the hosting provider’s servers technically process your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, the requested page and the time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These server logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after a short period.
When you write to us
If you use the contact form or “Begin a conversation”, we receive the details you choose to send: name, email address, optionally your organisation and message and, in the conversation, your answers about the project (worlds, kind of place, story, format, place, timing, optional link). Nothing from the conversation is transmitted before you press “Send your project note”. The data is delivered to us by email and used only to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to a collaboration, to prepare it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The website offers a link to write to us on WhatsApp. It is a plain link: nothing is loaded from WhatsApp and no data is sent to WhatsApp until you choose to open it. If you do, WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of Meta) processes your data under its own privacy policy, and we receive the messages you send us there. Use of this channel is voluntary; the form and email are always available instead (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. Fonts are served from this website itself; no external font service is contacted.
Storage in your browser
For convenience, your browser’s own storage remembers a few small settings on your device only: that you have already seen the opening sequence, whether you switched the sound on, and an unfinished conversation draft (your answers, never your contact details) for the current session. None of this is sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
4. Purpose of Processing
- Delivering the website securely and reliably.
- Responding to inquiries and communication requests.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Contractual necessity / pre-contractual steps: to answer a request initiated by you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Legitimate interests: secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws and regulations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is processed on our behalf only by:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU), the hosting provider of this website, for delivering pages;
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace), the email provider that delivers messages from the contact form and the conversation to us.
Both act under data processing agreements. Data may also be disclosed to legal authorities when required by law. All third parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy.
7. International Data Transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protective measures. Google may process data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
9. Your Rights (GDPR and other applicable laws)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Requests may be submitted via the contact details below.
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure. The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Links
The Website may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Revisions will be posted on this page with the updated “Effective Date.”
